Introduction

After graduating from the university, I was consistently involved in IT management and software development.
And then, I experienced setting up and managing offshore development bases in the Philippines and Bangladesh.
Through these experiences, I founded gecogeco, Inc. in 2017 with the desire to work offshore in my own way.
Currently struggling and enjoying daily life in two locations, the Philippines and Tokyo.　٩( 'ω' )و !

Introduction

I joined Gecogeco in August 2018. I was the first Filipino member, and we were a very small team. From then on, we grew through the years and strengthened our team.
I am currently handling the engineering division of the company. I lead the planning and discussions together with fellow leads. My involvement in projects is mostly on the higher level (i.e., planning, architecture design), and I sometimes manage small ones myself.

Outside work, I love to spend my time on small woodworking projects and gardening. I love to draw as well. During lesser active times, I spend a few hours scribbling and sketching.

Introduction

I began working for Gecogeco as a Technical Lead in April 2021. Currently, I'm working as an architect, focusing on directing the delivery of top-tier software, system architecture, and design solutions. In addition, I am giving the team members advice and technical guidance, ensuring outputs adhere to best practices, coding standards, and architectural approaches.

I enjoy cycling and seeing mountains aside from work.

Introduction

After graduating from the university, I joined Hitachi, Ltd. as a system engineer and experienced system development for a regional bank and overseas business development projects through secondment to a group company.
I joined Gecogeco in June 2021 and have experience from requirement definition to post-release operation and maintenance. Currently mainly in charge of bridgework and management of small projects.

Moved to Cebu in February 2022. The gym is just walking distance from my house, so I do training whenever I have free time.

Introduction

I joined the company last July 2019 as Sr. Frontend Engineer.

Currently, my position is Tech lead, meaning I'm now leading a team of experienced and skilled engineers. My primary responsibility is to prioritize the needs of the team. This includes understanding each requirement and raising concerns as early as possible, breaking down each task and managing schedule and delivery, and helping each member whenever they encounter some blockers. It is also my responsibility to address any concerns each member raises; if I can't address it, I'll be raising it to management.

I spend quality time with my family on weekends and after work. Also, I've been interested in batteries these past few weeks, like DIY's power station/power bank.

Introduction

I joined Gecogeco last November 2021. I work as a software engineer. I'm tasked to create, build, and maintain applications based on project requirements, which usually involve design, implementation, and testing.
I also work and collaborate with a diverse team.

As a K-pop fan, I consider it my hobby. I enjoy the songs of my favorite artists.
I also attend many K-pop events because I like to find common ground to share my interests and connect with people.

Introduction

I started my career as a new graduate in sales for a major real estate company. After 3 years, I switched to web development and worked as a full-stack engineer at an IT venture company, developing web and mobile applications.

In January 2023, I joined Geco as a Sr. Software Engineer.
I still work as a full stack engineer and also manage projects and communicate with a client as Bridge SE.

I joined as a Corporate Office Manager in August 2024
I've got 5 years of experience in the same role, and now I'm working with a great team of 3 Filipino members to support our back office operations at Geco. I am focused on improving the work environment for everyone and am eager to bring in new ideas to make that happen.

On my days off, I like to hit the beach, work out and travel. I'm pretty active and enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the Philippines!

Introduction

My journey in Geco started in January 2023. As part of the HR/Admin Team, I am assigned to a variety of different tasks which I enjoy doing. My responsibilities include recruiting top hires and improving our recruitment strategies. I am also assisting and performing other tasks for accounting, employee relations, and other ad-hoc tasks. Aside from that, I also do social media management to improve the company's branding.

I am a home buddy. I can stay in the house for as long as I can and not get bored. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, following my kpop stans, and watching movies and series. But if I were to go out, I'd like to travel anywhere, visit the beach, and go swimming.
