Gecogeco is an IT software development firm established in Japan in June 2017. A year later, we established our subsidiary in Cebu, Philippines. We mainly focus on IT business consulting and System Integration services on AWS.
We are a certified AWS consulting partner with almost all of our software engineers AWS certified. For the past years, we have been consistent in sharing profits with all Gecogeco members.
In January 2024, the company became an affiliate of Light Cafe Co., LTD! A web system integrator who has been providing web/IT solutions for over 22 years with 700+ employees in Tokyo, Okinawa, Fukuoka, and other locations in Japan.

- Technical Responsibilities
- Requirement analysis
- Lead the planning, design, implementation, reviews and testing of deliverables
- Application & infrastructure design, setup and reviews
- Support continuous improvement, R&Ds on alternatives and new technologies
- Management Responsibilities
- Team and Bridge Engineer communication
- Scheduling and task assignment for members
- Lead collaborations and discussions within the team
- Mentoring and coaching for member growth
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields
- Node.js proficient
- At least 4 years experience in Software Development
- At least 1-2 years experience as a development team lead
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
- Hands-on experience working with AWS or a strong motivation to learn and expand their AWS skill.
- AWS Certifications
- Experience working with other Cloud technologies (ie. GCP, Azure, etc.)
- DevOps experience
- Front-end skills & experience (Angular, React, or Vue.js)
- Business-level Japanese communication skills
- N1/N2 Level (we offer a good incentive)
- Working experience as JP on-site engineer for more than a year.
